Spanish school
Our Spanish school in Punta del Este is located in an old beautiful house with a nice garden. It is centrally and safely located and very close to the sandy beach "Playa Mansa". If it's not too hot, the lesson may even be moved to the beach. The language school in Punta del Este has two large, comfortably furnished classrooms. During the breaks, the Spanish students can relax in the garden; Conversation lessons are also held here occasionally.
The center of Punta del Este is around 4 kilometers away and can be reached on foot. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, entertainment options, bars and discos. The bus station is also within walking distance, which makes it very easy to plan weekend trips.
The language school staff is very friendly and always happy to help the students if questions arise.
Leisure activities
Are regularly offered by the language school (e.g. city tours, cooking classes, dancing classes, excursions, sports, grammar workshops, conversation exercises, etc.). The aactivities can be subject to change, and depend on the number of students, and some require an additional payment on site.
Internet
Internet WiFi is available in the school and can be used free of charge by the students.
School location
Uruguay is usually not on the typical travel list for South America. But this is actually not fair, since this small country between Argentina and Brazil is really worth a trip! Not only is it one of the safest countries in South America, it also has an interesting culture and beautiful landscapes and beaches.
One of the biggest attractions of Uruguay is the coast with the endless sandy beaches and picturesque little fishing villages.
You can learn Spanish in the dream location of the Atlantic coast. Punta del Este, also called "the pearl of Uruguay" (or even the "Monaco of South America"), is located in the southeast of the country, about 130 kilometers from the capital, Montevideo.
Punta del Este is internationally known as a sophisticated seaside resort with sun, white beaches and dunes and a hotspot of the Latin American jet set.
Punta del Este has two beaches, Playa Mansa (the "tame beach") and Playa Brava (the "wild beach"). The city offers plenty activities for everyone whether you’re looking for a dose of fascinating nature, exciting nightlife, or water sport activities.
Spanish classes
The lessons are held exclusively in Spanish, which has been shown to give the best results. The lessons are divided into two blocks, on the one hand grammar and on the other hand conversation. In this way, the students learn the fundamental grammar rules of the Spanish language and apply them in practical interactive exercises. Topics such as culture, politics and history of Uruguay are included in the lessons so that the students learn a little more about their host country in addition to the language.

Spanish levels
On the first day of school there will be a placement test to determine your language skills. It is used to assign you to a group with an according level. There are 6 levels of difficulty (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2) according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of References for Languages).
Group course
20 lessons / week. Maximum 6 students / group.
Private course
15 lessons / week.

Accommodation
The Spanish students in Punta del Este can be accommodated in the student residence on-campus (subject to availability) and in local homestays. It offers the perfect opportunity to live close-by and socialize with other students and locals. all accommodations are located close to the center of the city and is only 2 blocks away from the beach.
The student residence is in a quaint old villa that has 3 bedrooms. Residents may use the fully equipped kitchen to prepare their own meals. In addition, there is a spacious living room and nice garden where the students can sunbathe or have a barbecue.
