Spanish school
The language school in Panama City has over 15 years of experience. It is based in Paitilla, San Francisco and is centrally located in a great and safe area with easy access to public transportation in one of the best neighborhoods within the city and walking distance from other important neighborhoods, the financial area, the sea, restaurants, malls, bars, nightclubs and much more.
Our Spanish school in Panama City is housed in a modern building. It is equipped with a reception, common rooms, 15 modern classrooms, and a multi-media area, a small cafeteria, and a library. Each classroom has air conditioning to ensure that students don't lose concentration due to the heat in Panama City. A pleasant and cool atmosphere and a good coffee from Panama are the basis for efficient learning.
The Spanish school in Panama City has the Cervantes accreditation which is an important quality accreditation that pays specific attention to the academic aspects of a Spanish teaching center. Achieving and maintaining this accreditation is an arduous and intense process that is obtained through maintaining optimal academic processes and results.
Leisure activities
Are offered regularly (e.g. city tours, cooking classes, dancing classes, excursions, sports, grammar workshops, conversation exercises, etc.). The offers can be subject to change and some activities and excursions require an additional payment on site.
Internet
WIFI is available in the school and can be used free of charge by the students.
School location
Panama City is the capital of the Republic of Panama and is located in the middle of this small Central American country. About 1 million people live here. The city borders on the Pacific in the south, on the world-famous Panama Canal in the west and on dense rainforest in the north and east.
Cosmopolitan and trendy are the words that best describe Panama City, simply because the atmosphere in Panama City couldn't be more international. In the streets you can experience an interesting mix of cultures, not at least because of the Panama Canal, which makes a visit to this most modern city in Central America a unique experience. The Panama Canal is one of the 7 world wonders of modern times and is a technical masterpiece of the 20th century.
The modern part of the capital is an important international trading center, looks like a Caribbean Manhattan and is not less interesting. In addition to the amenities of a modern city, Panama City also has a lot of history to offer. "Casco Viejo", the historic district of Panama City, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The breathtaking gold altar of San José is just one of many must-sees here. This neighborhood with its pretty colonial buildings is the complete counterpart to the ultra-modern glass skyscrapers that line the coastline.
Panama City has something to offer for everyone: fancy restaurants with first-class celebrity chefs, shopping and an interesting nightlife can be found in the city itself, as well as tropical rainforest and sandy dream beaches with fresh air, nature and bathing fun as much as your heart desires right at the doorstep .
The climate in Panama City is tropical, it is warm all year round and the year is divided into dry and rainy seasons. The rainy season runs from May to December, while the dry season runs from January to April. The temperature is about 27 ° C all year round.
Spanish classes
The main goal of the Spanish courses in Panama City is: Communication! The school's very interactive and dynamic learning method is the result of many years of experience. A detailed curriculum for each course was developed taking into account the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference (GER or CEFR). For the group courses, the students are assigned to groups according to their previous Spanish knowledge.
Spanish levels
On the first day of school there will be a placement test to determine your language skills. This is used to classify the appropriate language level. There are 6 levels of difficulty (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2) according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of References for Languages).

Accommodation
It is important to us that you are not only in good hands at the language school, but also in your accommodation. Cultural exchange is an important part of our language programs. Learning a foreign language makes a lot more sense if you get to know and understand the culture, history and society. For this reason, we offer our students accommodation in a local homestay. Many of our hosts live close to the school, so the language school is within walking distance or a short bus ride.
Homestay includes a single room and breakfast & dinner. The bathroom is shared with the hosts or, in exceptional cases, you might have a private bathroom.
Alternatively, single rooms with self-catering in shared apartments or guest houses are available. Here you have access to a kitchen where you can prepare your own meals.
Internet WIFI is available in both housing options.
