This farm stay takes you right into the heart of Chile’s country life! The horse farm is located about 200 km south of Santiago de Chile, exactly between the Pacific Ocean and the Andes in the middle of the idyllic Colchagua Valley. Huasos (Chilean cowboys) on horseback, green vineyards, traditional events and colonial buildings make up the magical charm of this area, which looks a bit like it has fallen out of time.
This volunteer program focuses on sea turtle and rainforest conservation as well as community projects in the area. The mission is to build a sustainable future through environmental protection and education, as an alternative to living in harmony with our earth.
With this working holiday program, you live and work directly in the beautiful Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park in the south of the country, not far from the Argentine border. This is even the oldest national park in Chile – it has always impressed with its fairytale landscapes.
The volunteer work takes place in a small rural school in the idyllic south of Chile. The school is located near Frutillar, a very popular tourist town right on Lake Llanquihue overlooking the snow-capped Osorno Volcano. The school is a self-directed teaching community in which boys, girls and teachers meet on an equal footing.

Beach clean-ups are the focus of the volunteer program. Expeditions to beaches and rivers take place every day to clear them of plastic and other debris. Volunteers from all over the world support this important mission and have a lot of fun doing it.
In the animal sanctuary of our dedicated partners you will find a large protected nature park with forests, swamps and savannah zones. Confiscated, captured wild animals from illegal trade and wild animals formerly kept as pets are rehabilitated here and given a protected new home with good living conditions.
This unique Farm Stay program takes place at a stud farm in the location of Calera de Tango. A beautiful rural area just 25 kilometers from the capital city of Santiago de Chile.
As an Eco Volunteer you will find the “real” Guatemala. Ancient cultural techniques handed down by the Maya, lively community work and traditional life. Together with the local communities, you will till the land, bring in the harvest, take care of the animals and sell the organic products in the farm shop.
