The trip went very well and I arrived at the center without problem.
People are very nice and I feel good about it. It’s just a bit complicated for me to communicate because the other volunteers only speak English and not Spanish. But it’s not a big deal. Have a good evening!

Uns geht es gut. Wir hatten eine gute Reise. Uns gefällt es in Ecuador und das Projekt bewirkt viel gutes. Es ist nicht so ein Badewetter, kann sich aber vileicht noch ändern. Die Leute sind freundlich, es hat jedoch keine anderen Freiwilligen was etwas schade ist.

I’m doing great thank you so much! I was actually already in Costa Rica, volunteering with another association based in Garabito, so I’ve already seen quite a lot but I’m so excited to start my projet in Nicoya Península today! I met with Lorenzo on Saturday where he explained everything to me, and my stay with my host family was an absolute dream. My host mother was so nice and patient, especially since I don’t speak Spanish very well, but despite the language barrier I felt immensely welcomed and safe! (read more…)

I arrived well! My homestay is so sweet. The people here are really kind. I have seen already a lot and I am looking forward to go diving and visit the other islands in the weekend. Today was my first day of school, but I did not have classes. Tomorrow I will be teaching on my own because the official teacher is absent. I prepared some games and activities. Mir geht es soweit gut, mit de Reise hatte alles gut geklappt & ich hatte nun Zeit mich einzuleben ich fühle mich in Antigua, wie auch bei der Gastfamilie sehr wohl. Das Projekt empfinde ich als herausfordernd, gefällt mir jedoch auch sehr😊(read more…)

Mir gefällt es sehr gut hier in Cusco! Das Homestay ist toll, die Gastmutter ist wirklich sehr lieb und die anderen die hier wohnen auch. Ich hab mich sehr gefreut, dass die Lage so perfekt neben der Bus Station ist. Die Arbeit macht mir ebenfalls viel Spaß, sehr toll ist auch, dass es noch einige andere Volunteers dort gibt. (Working Holiday, Chile, CL-WT106)
Ich bin gut in Chile angekommen und hatte zwei schöne Tage in Santiago. Am Sonntag bin ich nach La Serena gefahren und wurde hier sehr herzlich empfangen. Mir hilft es auch sehr, dass eine andere Teilnehmerin aus Deutschland bei der Einarbeitung mitmacht. Bisher ist also alles gut!
