The trip went very well and I arrived at the center without problem.
People are very nice and I feel good about it. It’s just a bit complicated for me to communicate because the other volunteers only speak English and not Spanish. But it’s not a big deal. Have a good evening!

I met with Lorenzo on Saturday where he explained everything to me, and my stay with my host family was an absolute dream. My host mother was so nice and patient, especially since I don’t speak Spanish very well, but despite the language barrier I felt immensely welcomed and safe! (read more…)

I arrived well! My homestay is so sweet. The people here are really kind. I have seen already a lot and I am looking forward to go diving and visit the other islands in the weekend. Today was my first day of school, but I did not have classes. Tomorrow I will be teaching on my own because the official teacher is absent. I prepared some games and activities. I was a bit surprised (read more…)
