I had the most amazing time in Chile and feel so privileged that I had the opportunity to volunteer at the school, and spend 3 months with such wonderful people and in such a beautiful place whilst improving my Spanish. Thank you so much to both you and Marion for all your help and support in getting me there!

I arrived well in Ecuador, and at the farm, quite tired after the bus night ! But everything is going well, it’s a very quiet place, very beautiful, people are nice. The work is physical and quite hard, but it’s good exercice! We were four volunteers this week, and hopefully among them, two can speak english and spanish, because they can’t really speak english at the farm. So it has been a positive experience for now, I hope it will stay the same for the rest of my stay !

Mit geht es weiterhin sehr gut! Die Arbeit bei dem Tierheim ist bisher zwar ein bisschen anstrengender als der Sprachkurs, aber mindestens genauso aufregend. Die Katzen und Hunde sind alle unglaublich süß und ich lerne jeden Tag Neues. Mit Lidia verstehe ich mich auch gut, ich kenne sie ja aber auch schon aus der Sprachschule.

Meine Anreise war leider nicht so schön, da mein Rucksack in Denver beim Unsteigen geblieben ist. Aber alles halb so schlimm, da ich es gleich am nächsten Tag erhalten habe. Mir gefällt Panamá bis jetzt extrem gut! Mein Homestay ist wunderschön und meine Gastgeber sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Ich fühle mich also wie Zuhause! Der Spanischkurs macht total Spaß👍👍👍 Ich bin also mehr als glücklich.

Hallo Melanie, ich wollte mich noch bei Dir und bei Marion bedanken für die Organisation und dafür, dass ihr immer da wart wenn ich eine Frage hatte 🙏 Die Erfahrung im Hogar war toll und die Zeit mit Marcelo und Anita war auch echt schön. Mein Aufenthalt war wundervoll. Meine Gastfamilie war supernett! Meine Gastmama hat mich Montagmorgen zur Spanischschule gebracht und mir alles mit den Bussen erklärt und worauf ich achten muss. Mir geht es gut. Der Hinflug war eine Katastrophe, aber das hat mit dem Projekt ja nichts zu tun :). Und ja, mittlerweile habe ich mich schon etwas eingelebt. Es hat natürlich ein paar Tage gedauert, aber so langsam gewöhnt man sich an alles. Der Ort hier ist natürlich mega schön gelegen, und auch die Leute sind alle sehr nett. (read more…)
