I have been looking for a nursing internship abroad for a long time. I was really desperate, because I either didn't get an answer at all or was rejected, partly also due to the pandemic. When I came across South America Inside everything went very quickly and smoothly. I received very good advice and my special needs were listened to. The placement process was super fast 
Even on site my expectations were not disappointed. I was picked up at the airport on time and brought to my nice homestay. The nursing internship in the hospital in Quito was very interesting and I really learned a lot. I was even allowed to shadow an emergency and take care of the babies in the newborn ward. I also got an idea of many other areas.
I really like the country and the Quito. At the weekends I always went on trips with other volunteers. Actually, I had almost no time for myself because I was always so busy doing something with other volunteers, which I really liked.
